Because of the increasing popularity of entertainment technology, fewer people are taking the time to read books for pleasure.

Task 2

Reading:

提议close train station and add cafeteriao连接大学校园和主城区的铁路线，下学期就 要关闭了，因为过去两年使用这个城际小火车的人越来越少。而为了不让这个建筑物荒 废，大学决定把火车站改成cafeteria。

Some people believe that governments should make these unhealthy foods and drinks more expensive by taxing them. The tax (money paid to the government) would discourage consumption of unhealthy foods and drinks and raise money for future health-care costs. Other people believe that consumers buying foods and drinks should not pay any additional tax, even if the foods or drinks are unhealthy. Which viewpoint do you agree with, and why?
