A hobby I love that I’d like to talk about is collecting stamps.

我想讲述的一个我喜欢的爱好是集邮。

I started to feel interested in it when I was a kid in primary school.So,it’s been almost a decade.I remember I had an art class in grade 5,and our teacher organized an activity to appreciate some stamps from home and abroad.Also,he encouraged us to bring some to the classroom if we had any.

我是在我上小学的时候开始对它感兴趣的。所以，差不多有十年时间了。我记得我当时上五年级的时候，我们的老师组织了一个活动，让我们欣赏来自五湖四海的邮票。同时，他也鼓励我们有邮票的同学带一些来教室。

There was a classmate of mine who was a die-hard fan of stamps,and he brought several booklets that contained lots of stamps in various designs.You know,the moment I saw those aesthetically made little things,I was quite fascinated by them.Some of them were exotic to me as they are from countries like Russia and Spain but really broadened my eyes.Since then,I began to collect some stamps whenever it was possible for me.

当时有一位同学是邮票的狂热爱好者，他来了几个册子的邮票，里面有特别多不同设计样式的邮票。我看到这些制作精美的小东西市，就对它们着迷了。一些来自诸如俄罗斯和西班牙等国的邮票对我来说是非常陌生的，但是真的开了我的眼界。从那时起，不管什么时候，只要有可能，我就会搜集一些邮票。

I think the main reason why I am quite into it is that I can always learn something from the stamps I collected such as the unknown piece of history attached to them.Also,partly because they are not just used stamps but are also truly art pieces that allow me to appreciate the beauty of the design.

我认为我很喜欢集邮的主要原因是我总是可以在这些收集到邮票中学习到东西，例如它们所牵涉的一段不为人知的历史。另外，部分原因是因为这些邮票不仅仅是用过的邮票而已，它们是真真正正的艺术品，能够让我欣赏到设计之美。
