A person who enjoys growing plants is my mom,a retired state-owned enterprise worker.

一位喜欢种植植物的人其实是我妈妈，她是一位国营企业的退休员工。

My mom is in his 50s and has spent roughly two years of retired life.So,she has got a lot more free time than in the past to grow some plants at home,which is one of her hobbies.

我妈妈五十多岁了，已经度过了差不多两年的退休生活。所以，相比以前，她有了更多的空闲时间来在家里种一些花花草草，这是她的爱好之一。

Well,she has lots of plants in our backyard as we live in a house in our city’s suburb.To be honest,I can’t even tell some of them.To the best of my knowledge,most of them have tenacious vitality such as aloe and cactus.She even planted some vegetables like cucumber so that we sometimes don’t need to go to the grocery stores.

由于我们住在市郊的一个独立屋，她在我们后院种来很多植物。老实说，我也不太认识那里的一些植物。据我所知，多数植物都有顽强的生命力，例如芦荟和仙人掌。她甚至种植了一些诸如黄瓜之类的蔬菜，有的时候我们都不用去市场买了。

The most impressive plant to all the guests at home would be the mulberry trees placed on our house’s roof garden.To keep those plants alive,this article is from  website,she had to take care of them almost on a daily basis.She has to move the plants to appropriate places where they could thrive,replace the potting soil,and water them occasionally.But there were some days in the year she was out,and I would try to help her do the work.

给我们家客人留下最深印象的可能是桑葚树了，它被放在我们家楼顶的花房里。为了让这些植物活下去，我妈妈每天都会照顾它们。她得把植物搬到合适的地方让它们健康成长，给它们更换土壤，偶尔浇浇水。但是，一年当中她有几天会外出，所以我会尝试帮她做这些活儿。

I suppose the main reason my mom is quite into growing plants is that she is a person who loves nature and knows how to appreciate those plants.You know,she regards every bowl of the plant as her child.It is always a happy thing for me to see that those beautiful plants bring her a good mood every day.

我认为我妈妈喜欢种植这些植物的主要原因就是她是个热爱自然的人并懂得如何欣赏这些植物。她把每一盆植物都当作她的孩子。看到这些植物每天给她带来好心情对我来说是件非常开心的事情。
