1.Why do some people have good memory while others just don't? 为什么有些人记忆力好，而有些人记忆力差？

I suppose some people have trained to strengthen memory when they were young, so they have a better memory. For example, some parents ask their kids to play crossword puzzles. In this process, children try to remember the whole puzzle to find the answer. In the long run, their memory can be strengthened.

2. Why do more people rely on cell phones to memorize things? 为什么越来越多的人依赖手机来记忆东西？

I suppose the main reason is that it’s convenient to use phones to remind them. The phones can ring to remind people what they should do, so they will be less likely to miss something important.

3. Are you good at memorizing things? 你擅长记忆东西吗？

No, not really. I always miss meetings and classes because I forget them, especially when I am busy. Therefore, I usually write them down and check the paper after I wake up.

4. Have you ever forgotten something that was important? 你有没有忘记一些重要的事情？

Yes, of course. Last month, I forgot my father’s birthday. I was busy preparing for my test, so I had never thought about it. On that day, my dad sent me a photo of his birthday cake, which reminded me of what I had forgotten. I was regretful and upset when I realized it, so I began to write his birthday down on my calendar.
